Healthy 2025 Events

Thank you for being interested in facilitating or joining a 4th of July parade to connect with your community, create a HEALTHY county, and be a part of Making America Healthy Again!

What an exciting time! Let's end chronic disease, support mental health, and reverse the reproductive crisis! We have a HUGE opportunity to be in a hometown parade and reach thousands locally and millions nationally in a single day to empower our neighbors, children's teachers, friends, and the future spouse of our children to be healthy and to someday be able to experience the profound love that it is to have one's own child.

James Maskell, author of The Community Cure, inspired us to support you in participating in 4th of July parades when he told us this story.

The people of a town in Frome, UK, decided to encourage everyone to join a group. A few people walked around with green lanyards and a QR code that allowed them to sign up for a men's church group, gardening club, women's knitting group, etc. One year after they did this, the town's health care costs dropped 20 million pounds**, a reduction of more than 15% of total health care costs, and a drop of 45% in emergency admissions. Astounding! The community can cure through connection!

We will pass out flyers at the parades to invite people to get involved. We aim to gather a group after the parade outreach and support each other with large local events, nationwide, in October- National Children's Health Month!

If we had 1000 events with 1000 people who all connected and shared with 300 people -

We could reach 300 million Americans together!

We invite YOU to be a facilitator of a group in a parade. Hosts, sign up below!

Steps:

Look up the details for your local parade on your town hall website. Register your group as Healthy (your county name), and for the organization, put Mom Across America. We are a 501c3 EIN 30-0891447
Get an exact address like 123 Main St., Wichita, Kansas 455667, where you will be able to meet your group.
Create a Facebook Group called Healthy (County Name) and let your friends know to mark their calendars!

**What these figures do not take into account is the financial savings of early intervention, of unwell people not using healthcare services going into the future because they are healthier. So, just on decreased hospital usage, the savings are enormous. When you add in the other savings, it becomes a bit mind-boggling. Furthermore, drug costs in the US are 4 to 5 times higher than in the UK, so reduced drug usage has an even bigger impact.
